Crown Molding Ideas To Help Your Home Improvement Project
|
With crown molding being so diverse and coming in so many different styles and even shapes, you have a lot of choices to consider. What you should do is take some of the pictures of the molding in use on the websites and print them out in color. Put them up against your roof/wall/crown and see how it will look compared to the rest of the room. It will be 2 dimensional but if it looks good in 2D then 3D molding will really stand out. Keep in mind that if you have small rooms or large you can use crown molding ideas easily in both, but depending on the "business" of the room (how many different color schemes, small stuff everywhere etc...) you may want to choose your crown molding accordingly. If your room is busy, choose a simple but robust style. If your room is very simple and seems to lack detail, this can be a great opportunity for you to update it and add more definition without having to add a bunch of new furniture to the room. Crown molding alone can define a room. Many people do look up first when entering the room, almost as if they were assessing the space and dimensions of the room, and this is a great thing to see first! |
